Northern European connectivity provider, GlobalConnect launches SmartConnect, a one stop shop that gathers all connectivity products and IT services in one manageable solution. SmartConnect will be GlobalConnect’s big bet, competing for large enterprise customers with increasingly high demands on having one accountable partner for its IT and connectivity solutions, guaranteeing robustness and security, as well as a monthly fixed fee.

“As a result of increasingly digitized ways of working enterprise’s connectivity, security and IT solutions are becoming increasingly entangled and complex within all industries. That’s why we decided to build SmartConnect – a seamless and manageable one stop shop, to help our customers gather all their connectivity products under one roof and in one easy interface, making sure they work seamlessly together in a secure and protected manner. What previously required different suppliers, services, portals, price plans, hardware and inhouse experts, can now be found in one single end-to-end solution, giving customers more time to focus on growing and developing their business, and less time on administrating their internal IT setup” says Yan Zheng, Director of GlobalConnect’s enterprise product division, Digital Solutions.

The SmartConnect ecosystem will initially be offered towards enterprise customers in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.

“GlobalConnect has a unique position, offering a true one stop shop, given that we own the entire value chain – from the fiber in the ground to the cloud in the sky. This means that have a unique possibility to ensure that all services work seamlessly together and individually, while our customers only have one point of contact and one contract for their entire setup,” says Zheng.

SmartConnect is a manageable connectivity solution, including SD-Wan, Managed LAN, the underlying network together with embedded security services. In the development of SmartConnect, the user experience has played a pivotal role, resulting in a service that does not require prior experience or expert knowledge for setting up and getting started.
