GlobalConnect harmonizes consumer brands across markets

GlobalConnect Group is taking its next step in becoming the leading digital infrastructure provider in the Nordics by harmonizing its consumer brands. IP-Only, Homenet and Onefiber will all become GlobalConnect, making it the largest fiber player in the Nordic market towards consumers and enterprises.

IP-Only in Sweden, Homenet in Norway and Germany, and Onefiber in Denmark and Finland, will change their brand names and become GlobalConnect on January 19. However, the new brand structure will not affect the ambitions or strategy in any of GlobalConnect’s markets.

“Having a strong and relevant brand has never been as important as it is today. Especially in our industry, where your brand is only as strong as the public and customer perception of it.  Therefore, to concentrate our efforts and increase the impact of our brand building initiatives in each of our markets, we have decided to incorporate a unified brand strategy across the group. Our consumer offering may differ slightly in each market, but our position and ambition are the same and align perfectly with GlobalConnect’s – to empower all parts of society with future-proofed connectivity services”, says Kamran Alemdar, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, GlobalConnect.

Today, GlobalConnect Group connects more than 700,000 private households and 30,000 enterprises with its vast fiber network spanning over 150 000 km throughout Northern Europe.
